CLIPSTER

Direct to theater HD 2k & 4K video. When creating Digital Cinema Packages (DCP) it is important to be using the ultimate encoding workstation. That’s why Cutting Room is working in CLIPSTER®. This exciting workstation provides online editing of film data, conversion to various output formats, color correction and even film restoration. The DVS flagship enables you to perform all the steps in a DI workflow on one system – steps that would otherwise need to be distributed over several products. Clipster can handle any level of resolution – SD, HD, 2K and 4K. Even demanding visual effects may be used without causing delays in your workflow, since the majority of the DI workstation’s features are processed in real time. Our D-Cinema can even create 3D DCP.

Part of our D-Cinema includes film restoration solutions. After working on the ABBA Gold Special Edition that was released in December 2010 where we restored all of the music videos featured on the original DVD plus new bonus material. The DVD will also include bonus selections in the shape of “before-and-after” split-screen comparisons of five original film clips and the remastered versions of those clips.

A beautifully filmed documentary by Disneynature. We’ve been creating DVD & BD productions since 2004 here at Cutting Room Studios. Now with the ability to encode with Clipster, we can offer the latest technology to all of our customers.
