Straight out of F.U.S.E is the rap group RMK & Kompaniett. Started by Rikard “RMK” de Bruin as rapper and singer, the group also includes Marcus “Maffi” Elfström – guitar, Fredrik Eriksson – keyboard, Jonas Holmedal – bass, Leo Sundh – drums and percussions, and Jakob Söderberg on drums and percussions as well. The group of six guys who were all former students at Fryshusets Gymnasium is now recording their debut album, scheduled for completion in Autumn 2010. Introducing F.U.S.E Music, a musical development in the form of a publishing company and record label. The music the young talent at Fryshuset Gymnasium create will be channeled through F.U.S.E Music in order to develop the musicians, record their music, as well as market and distribute these young artists. A logical evolution in the artistic learning process.
Cutting Room Studios supports young adults who are passionate about music and as a result we have created a Mentorship Program with the Stockholm based school, Fryshuset for their Music Program. It is a pleasure to help guide the talented musicians of tomorrow and Fryshuset has long delivered great musical talent throughout the years.
Fryshuset has four different musical programs to choose from. Rock, Soul, Rap and Music Production. Because Fryshuset has the reputation it has, they can offer their students access to the kind of equipment, studios, recording facilities, stage performance facilities as well as education from people who have worked in the industry. This kind of machine creates a constant flow of creativity and allows the students to develop and learn in ways most people their age could only dream of. This is why Cutting Room also wants to be a part of this inspiring part of these kid’s lives.
